Some of those ingredients may sound unfamiliar and you are probably reading about them for the first time, but Guar Gum and liquid glycerin, for example, can be found in Bulk n Barn at really affordable price.

You will also need:

  • Large container for bubble mixContainer
  • Two sticks for your wand (bases from an old hanger or other safe for the kids items can be used)
  • Cotton string (I used leftover cotton yarn from my crochet)
  • Something small and heavy like bolt or metal washer, for exampleBolt

Directions

  1. Place Guar gum and baking soda in your container and mix.
  2. Add dish detergent and liquid glycerin and whisk really well. You don’t want any lumps in your mixture.
  3. Add water and again, whisk really well.

Now it’s time to prepare your magic wand. Tie string to one of the sticks, put your bolt on, and then tie it to another stick and to the first one again, as shown on the picture. For the larger bubbles you may want to do larger opening of the lower string.
